Tech Floor™ Access Floor

Bergvik’s Tech Floor is a raised access floor system providing flexibility, stability, strength and personal safety. Engineered for applications where changing technology requires future modifications, Tech Floor is an excellent solution for electrical, plumbing, cable and HVAC installations.
Tech Floor's unique solid panel construction with tapered edges assures that all panels stay flush to prevent tripping. The thin ABS plastic edge trim fully protects the edge of the surface while presenting a smooth profile. The Bergvik Laminate finish, extremely wear-resistant and easy-to-clean, is standard on
Tech Floors.

Tech Floor panels are also available in a wide variety of optional surface finishes suitable for projects of any size. Panels are available in three standard sizes with unlimited custom options for adapting to special equipment or furniture needs. Bergvik also offers a complete range of accessories to accompany our Tech Floors.

Tech Floor has in principle the same function and quality as Iso Floor, but a less costly alternative when the requirements for needed cable space under the floor, loading and stability is limited.


Steel Floor Structure

Tech Floor structure is constructed of steel and consists of
pedestal supports that use an adjustable pedestal head. The pedestal
head sits on a semi-conductive pad which locks the floor panel and
pedestal jointly into position. For additional lateral support of floor
heights from 16 to 24" (400 to 610 mm), drop-in stringers of a
U-section are available.

Even Earthquakes Won't Shake Us

The Bergvik seismic bracing frame is the most reliable product on the market and is tested to Telcordia requirements GR-63-CORE for Seismic Zone 4. These frames are designed specifically to match the equipment mounted on them and are engineered to accommodate manufacturers such as Alcatel, Ericsson, Emerson, Nortel, Hendry, Marconi, Tyco and many others.

Tech Floor laminate panels are environmentally safe (<10 µg/m3 formaldehyde) and recyclable. There is a complete range of accessories available, service is fast and delivery time is short.
